Kati Flinn

Encompass Person Centered was established in 2022 by Kati Flinn and Heather Smith. Kati and Heather have a combined 25+ years of working in the IDD field, with experience ranging from working directly with clients to administrative duties and training other direct support professionals. Both women also have personal experience with family members who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. This gives them an in-depth understanding of the kinds of pro-social and person-centered supports that help individuals in the IDD community to thrive. 

Their mission is to provide an environment based on inclusivity, acceptance, person-centered thinking, and an individual's right to choice. Heather and Kati founded Encompass Person Centered to ensure that there is a place in the community where the service delivery model prioritizes inclusivity, acceptance, and client empowerment. Encompass Person Centered is driven by the belief that members of the IDD community have the right to self-determination and the company’s goal is to provide the supports that enable clients to live joyful, fulfilled lives.
